Lone...

i figure it's been about time i posted something about the new short film we're shooting for summer conference 2007. the title is "lone", and the story focuses on 4 students who have cut themselves off from the world around them, even though they are surrounded by hundreds of peers day in and day out. this film will integrate with the rest of our theme, which is "ONES - because we were never meant to be alone". a different piece of the story will be shown all 5 nights.

chad wrote the script and is doing all the directing of actors. i'm shooting, editing, and directing everything else about the film. jon hill is doing the mixing and sound design. tony anderson is doing the soundtrack in collaboration w/jon. terry is doing lighting and being key grip. i know you don't have a clue who any of these people are, but it doesn't matter. the point is, there's a lot of people working on this film, and i'm really excited about it. i pray consistently that this film will transcend all staff shortcomings and be a vessel for the Holy Spirit to work through. i hope to have a trailer online, but it won't be done for a while. we have definitely had huge setbacks on this project, but we keep pushing forward.

february 5-11 i will be going to africa to shoot a mini-documentary about AIDS in tanzania. please be praying for wisdom, a broken heart, and a stable hand/creative eye. also, please pray for allyson and avery, that they won't miss me too much, and that they will rely on Jesus for strength.
